Hugely impressive isn't it
Martin from Stone: The installation must have been a great challenge to assemble.
How absolutely stunning, Martin. I love your POV on it.
Martin from Stone: It was a shame it was such a dull day
That art work with the poppies is world famous. We saw a YouTube how they are made, amazing what a dedication. What a wonderful picture and what a wonderful point of view, Martin.
This is the YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58aX_EBwzr4
Martin from Stone: Thanks for the link Astrid, a mind blowing manufacturing process on such a scale.
Wonderful. We were able to see this display at Hereford Cathedral.
Martin from Stone: Having just viewed the link that Astrid posted I am even more impressed, what an achievement
A lovely shot Martin, I've seen these displays in a few places, in fact took some pic's of one yesterday. This one is particularly good.
Martin from Stone: We just lacked a bit of sunshine the day we visited.
I seem to think this featured on Central television recently, doesn't it look good.
Martin from Stone: Obviously on a much smaller scale than London but still most impressive

Shucks, what a comment on the past! I like your low POV.
Martin from Stone: So many lives were lost in WW1 people are quite focused on the 100 yr anniversary of the end of that war this year.

i like this point of view, Martin - looks very dramatic.
Martin from Stone: It was moving and thought provoking , each poppy represents a young soldier cut down in the terrible First World War. In reality there should be millions of poppies- it is estimated that between 15 and 19 million soldiers and civilians perished and 23 million wounded, no one will ever know the true figure.
